Topographic Surveys
Mapping the World
A Topographic Survey (sometimes called a Detail Survey) seeks to represent the shape and features of a site on a plan or as a 3D digital model, and is an essential pre-requisite for most building and development projects. We have carried out a huge range of 'topo' surveys, from small back gardens to 100 acre+ sites for major housing and infrastructure developments, and for clients all over Wales and the UK.

Our Survey Plans:
Clear,Accurate, Informative
We pride ourselves on the clarity of the finished plans.....we do not supply a simple computer plot, but a plan that has had many hours spent over it ensuring that the end result is accurate, comprehensive and legible.
Plans can be supplied as conventional drawings on paper or film, and as digital files in many different formats.
Case Study:
IBM Offices, Southampton
This was a large survey of the car parking and surrounding grounds of a substantial office complex. The client needed a high level of detail: car parking layout, tree details, drainage details and all visible features, in order to implement a sophisticated asset management system.

Case Study:
Private House, Llandeilo
The client needed an accurate plan of their property to understand the shape and levels of the plot, to investigate the potential for extension, garaging, car parking and garden design.

Case Study:
Restored Mill Buildings, Ceredigion
A beautifully and meticulously restored woolen mill near Lampeter, the owner required an accurate and comprehensive site survey to document the renovation progress, plan future developments, and to catalogue the variety of heritage buildings and features.

Case Study:
Traditional Farmhouse & Gardens, Powys.
The new owners of this attractive smallholding near Lake Bala required a Topographic Survey of their site to prepare a master plan of improvements to the buildings and gardens, as a planning tool and as a requirement for planning permission.
